Maltese Bichon

The Maltese Bichon is a breed that has been known since Phoenician antiquity and classical Greece. Centuries later it began to become popular again among Italians and English, with Italy taking over the patronage of the breed.

Dogs of this breed are highly recommended, as they are dogs with a great ability to socialise with humans and other animals. They are also very well behaved, intelligent and affectionate dogs.

This breed is characterised by its small stature. Its height is approximately 20 to 25 centimetres, and its weight ranges between 3 and 4 kilograms.

02. Body

Its body is small and robust, medium-sized head, black round nose, large oval eyes.

03. Fur

It is a dog with a dense, glossy and abundant coat, white or ivory in colour.

04. Behaviour

He is an energetic, active and intelligent dog. In general it is a happy and amusing dog, at the same time very affectionate with its master.

05. Protectors

Although they have the appearance of small puppies throughout their lives, they are great protectors of their home.

06. Perfect for allergy sufferers

It is a hypoallergenic breed, as it loses little hair and retains certain properties in its dermis, so it does not tend to provoke allergic reactions easily, which is beneficial for allergy sufferers.
